Two Trees From Asheville. N.C.
Taken with a Nikon CoolPix 14MP Digital Camera

So for my spring break we went to Asheville, N.C. It was alot of fun to see the differnt kinds of terrain you find in the mountains. The Trees are much larger and they seemed to have huge areas for nature reserves and hiking areas galore. We went to a botanical garden and a couple of great parks(One Being Pisgah National Forest).
One interest of mine that got tickled was of the stone kind. I got to see an Amthyst chunk bigger than my head.
On other things, i started a kind of experiment in the garden to see the effect of drainage on container plants. Instead of open containers i am useing 2 liter bottles i have collected over the winter.
I’m going to start out with just dirt and plants. Mix some flowers in a few and put herbs like Oregano and Chamomile in the others. Each of them have a differnt amount of drainage holes and i’m interested to see if it helps them grow.
